Latinos in London invite you to celebrate with the Queen the Diamond Jubilee in a latin way with some of the most popular latino events, clubs and parties this bank holiday weekend. Time for us to remember our Latin Queens dancing Celia Cruz, Carmen Miranda or Selena among others when we get into party mood by their majestic sound!!

Colombia’s favourite daughter, Shakira, celebrates her 35th Birthday . Help us raise money for Shakira’s amazing charity, which champions free primary education to underprivileged children across the world. The price includes a 2 course meal and a slice of birthday cake.
All net proceeds on the night will go to the foundation.

Breed 77 - Exclusive acoustic show : 2nd December, London

Breed 77 play a special pre Xmas fully acoustic show (the first since Bar Monsta in 2007). Breed 77 were formed at the tail-end of the last century as a reaction to the boring state of music that defined rock at the time. Hailing from Gibraltar, the band was formed in London, U.K. which has remained their base ever since, and from which they have traveled all over the planet touring their 4 albums.

The Cultura y Cubania Festival returns for a third year this October.   Put the dates in your diary because this year's programme is going to be the biggest and best yet!

Marcus Doo & The secret family : 2nd October, London

This international band, formed by two Scottish, David (guitar), Marcus (voice and acustic guitar), one French Fabrice (drums), and two Spanish Rocio (voice + samplers) and Xisco (bass) is creating a sound that takes you to different journeys, stories, fantasies in each of their songs. They will be on 2nd October at Cargo, London plus supporting bands.

Filmoteca + Live Music @ Pisco Night : 2nd September, London

From now on, Pisco Night will take place EVERY FRIDAY at the Free Word Centre, bringing Peruvian tapas & drinks to the heart of Clerkenwell powered by live music + Films.  Pisco Night will do the best to take full advantage of their new home and show - as much as they can - Latin American films at the Free Word Centre's excelent screening room, presented by leading academics/writers/filmakers.

Camilo "Azuquita" : 3rd September, London

 

Legendary Panamanian singer, Camilo Azuquita hitting London on the 3rd September. One of the few Salsa singers who has been able to be on top of his game for over 3 decades, Azuquita was part “Cortijo Y su Combo”, “La Tipica 73”, Tito Puente Orchestra and probably the most influencial Latino band ever, the “Fania All Stars”.

Ana Silvera & Stuart Silver : 2nd September, London

Ana Silvera who is currently working on a new song suite for solo voice, electronics and choir to be premiered in the Roundhouse mainspace in 2012, will be performing entirely new work at this concert, and possibly making her violin debut! Also on stage great artist Stuart Silver.
