Aracataca is proud to announce that it will be celebrating Colombia and Ecuador's rich African heritage with a focus on the Pacific coast of both countries. Live Music will be featured by acclaimed Pacific Coast musician, Luis Lema who played in front of adoring crowds in London's Thames Festival outside the London Assembly.

"Latin America's hottest singer-songwriter… a soulful poet with electric guitar." Raised in Medellín, Colombia, Juanes began playing guitar at age seven. Juanes' third album, Mi Sangre, achieved success due to the single "La Camisa Negra". He has since released La Vida Es Un Ratico (2007) and P.A.R.C.E. (2010). He has won seventeen Latin Grammy Awards and one Grammy Award. Juanes received the BMI President's Award at the 2010 BMI Latin Awards and is also known for his humanitarian work, especially with aid for Colombian victims of anti-personnel mines.

This summer the Academy Award nominee will bring the vibrant sounds and sights of Brazil to London as his Brazilian Festa hits London's indigO2 on Saturday 14 July for a special one off show.

Iconic South-American singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil is joined by the London Symphony Orchestra and conductor Francois-Xavier Roth for an evening featuring new arrangements by Jaques Morelenbaum of his own songs, alongside music originating from and influenced by his beloved Brazil.

In 2010 the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra made a historic visit to Havana, Cuba where they collaborated and performed with many Cuban artists. This special concert revisits this landmark occasion by exploring the connections between the American jazz big band tradition and Afro-Cuban jazz.

Especially since the end of 19th century, Spanish composers such as Falla, Mompou, or Granados have been influenced by the stories and flavour of Spanish traditional music, being the guitar one of the main sources of inspiration.

FRENTE CUMBIERO explores the sound and identity of cumbia throughout Latin America. Having participated in cumbia-related projects since 1999 in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, England, France and Holland, the band has collaborated with key players in the cumbia movement, building bridges between the cumbia capitals of the world, all the way from New York right through to Buenos Aires.

Nirk Molina with his fusion of pop vocals and traditional Colombian vallenato the traditional music of the Colombian rural people. He embodies the very soul of Latin America. To complete this double bill will be Eduardo Parra leader of Fuerza Vallenata arrived several years ago and today still runs the London-based band  performing the music known as "Vallenato" and also being one of the first people to bring this hugely popular Colombian style of music to this country.

Robin del Castillo is a Colombian musician who is becoming internationally famous for his salsa music. Since 2001, Robin Del Castillo has been based in London (UK) working tirelessly on his personal projects and making his mark wherever he goes. His musical career started in Colombia with different bands like Orchestra Matecaña and then in London with the Roberto Pla Orchestra among other big names on salsa scene.
