FESTIVAL | WARMI @LondonGreenFair : 10 June


The London Green Fair is London's largest free green festival, taking place in Regent's Park this year on the 9th and 10th June. We reflect the green aspirations and achievements of London as a whole - celebrating, educating and empowering. Our best latin bands will be playing on Saturday 9 June at 5.45pm & WARMI + Special guests on Sunday 10th June at 4pm.

1st Latin American Piano Festival : 9 - 12 November, London

 
The First Latin American Piano Festival will take place in London (Bolivar Hall, Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela) on 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th November 2011. ReVoice Festival 2011 : 6th - 14th October 2011




9 days, 37 artists, one celebration of International Jazz Voices curated by award-winning vocalist, lyricist and producer, Georgia Mancio. A performer of pure class and integrity; a true improviser with a big imagination, Mancio has proved herself one of the UK’s most important new artists having worked alongside jazz luminaries Bobby McFerrin, Sheila Jordan, Monty Alexander, Cedar Walton and Dave Holland's Overtone Quartet.

Terrakota : 10th September, London

Fusing African rhythms with dance and reggae grooves, mixed with the gypsy, Indian and Arabic musical sensibilities, Terrakota take to the stage at the Jazz Cafe to play music from their fourth album "World Masala".

This year Club Dada is going to continue  swing, ding and ultimately  explode. They are taking over the Spiegeltent (whose brothers and sisters had  Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich as guests) every night and spin it into the 23rd  Century. From Electro Swing (1920-1950s remixed), Bestival was the first  festival in the world to have a venue based around the  Vintage Remix. Sat  is  jumping brassed up Ska and booming festival brass with legends The Top Cats  ; and finishing on sunday with night of mashed up Ancient Latin Cumbia, ripped  up , remixed and rewound. A perfect Festival venue.

Combining spanish-style guitars with hip-hop, samba and politically-charged punk, these urban globalistas have brought their incendiary dance anthems and 'rabble-rousing' lyricism to festivals all over Europe and supported acts such as Manu Chao, Ozomatli and Massive Attack.

Renegado European Tour 2011 is landing in London town ; one of the most recognized artist from Brasil is heading up this 12th at Favela Chic and 13th May at Passing Clouds amongst Dj's and 2 of the great local bands from London. Renegado is performing with his 5-piece band playing a funky mix of Hip Hop blended with Brazilian influences, Check the dates below and don't miss the opportunity to be part of this event.

Vamos Festival : 4th June - 10th July (Newcastle Gateshead)
