At the end of May, Peru pays tribute to its ancestral Andean languages such as Quechua and Aymara. Live Andean and Afro-Peruvian music will be performed by Andean Beats plus special guests Lokandes unplugged joined by some of the top latin american musicians based in London like Kanti Qena, Phaxsi Coca & Maestro Kieffer Santander (Manos Negras). Brazilian born singer/songwriter and composer Angelita Jimenez, is fast establishing herself in the UK music scene for her stunning soft vocal delivery, perfect for her Brazilian Music style. World renowned Cuban drummer Ernesto Simpson brings his Latin Jazz Explosion to Hideaway’s stage for a very rare performance from this all-star ensemble featuring some of the brightest names in the UK’s Jazz scene. A night laced with a powerful Latin Funk.

Peruvian House in London!! plus Pisco cocktails/Peruvian tapas and latin/rock party.  Peruvian musician/producer Miki Gonzalez will be playing a live set of his unique Inka Beats this Saturday, June 25, as part of the Pisco Disco series at The CAMP. Besides being on decks, Miki will play electric guitar accompanied by the sounds of quena/zampona and other Andean wind instruments, played by London-based musician Kanti Quena.
