The Venezuelan jazz group, Matiz Ensamble, will perform at Bolivar Hall
as part of their 2012 European tour.
The seven-strong group hailing from
Maracaibo are famous for their spontaneity and improvisation covering a
broad range of musical genres including Venezuelan joropo, pajarillos,
waltz, gaita de tambora, new age, fulías, parrandas, bossanova,
flamenco, jazz, tango and swing.
