Filmoteca + Live Music @ Pisco Night : 2nd September, London

From now on, Pisco Night will take place EVERY FRIDAY at the Free Word Centre, bringing Peruvian tapas & drinks to the heart of Clerkenwell powered by live music + Films.  Pisco Night will do the best to take full advantage of their new home and show - as much as they can - Latin American films at the Free Word Centre's excelent screening room, presented by leading academics/writers/filmakers.

This Friday's feature will be presented by Dr. Natalia Sobrevilla, Lecturer and Head of Hispanic Studies at the University of Kent.


This Friday we will be screening the amazing documentary "State of Fear" (Pamela Yates, USA/Peru 2005) as the first instalment of the Latin American film series that Southern Exposure will be showing at Pisco Night (PopUp Cafe @ Free Word Centre).

Programme:
- 6pm Doors open
- 7pm Film presentation and screening.
- 10:30pm Live music by Luis Garcia + Tora El diablo
- 1:30am - Last orders!!

Pisco cocktails/Cusquena Beer/Wine/Soft drinks

FOOD (6:30-11:30, or until stock lasts)
Causa/Papa a la Huancaina/Lamb Seco/Pork Sandwich
...and a cameo appearance of Lomo Saltado after the film.
