Legendary Panamanian singer, Camilo Azuquita hitting London on the 3rd September. One of the few Salsa singers who has been able to be on top of his game for over 3 decades, Azuquita was part “Cortijo Y su Combo”, “La Tipica 73”, Tito Puente Orchestra and probably the most influencial Latino band ever, the “Fania All Stars”.
In the 80s, Azuquita became the first big salsa name to cross the Atlantic to live in Paris, where he became a massive star and open the path which would be follow by many other Latino artist coming to Europe.
With hits such as “Como si Nada”, “Xiomara”, “El Poeta”, “Negrita”, “Hipocresia”, “Mujer Celosa”, “En un beso la vida” and many more, he keeps himself busy touring around the world, singing for audiences that know him from his work with the “Salsa Dura” pioneers and the more recent “Salsa Romantica” work that made him popular with the younger generations .
