Founded in 2006, MoMIM is a non-profit charity working for the equal
rights and dignity of all women, regardless of their cultural or social
background. Developing projects in South America and Europe, programmes
aim to develop women’s skills for employment to improve their future
prospects while encouraging independence and greater self-esteem.
In 2013 MoMIM London, managed by Molly Sanders and Sandra Castell-Garcia, will contribute to the NGO’s extensive programme, launching their first dance project at MoMIM’s cultural centre in Bolivia.
Funds raised from this event will go towards creating a dance space for workshops and a programme of activity to develop the women’s self confidence and confront issues of gender inequality and prejudice.
