This generation was able to create a unity movement and a programme that would nationalise natural resources and the banks as well as implementing agrarian reforms to redistribute land. Today our country faces a new battle as students fight for their right to education and the Mapuches fight for autonomy and to stop the robbery of their ancient land by successive Chilean governments.
Latin American artists get together to sing and play the music of our continent to celebrate the achievements of the people’s struggle in our continent.
