Globalista continue their monthly slot at Bar Music Hall where DJs including resident Cal Jader alongside special guests spin a unique blend of Afro-Latin beats, Disco, Funk, Reggae, Tropical bass & new wave global Electro, plus a selection of some of the new breed of live acts from London’s thriving global underground. From the freshest Latin acts to African, tropical and gypsy influenced bands – and new fusions – anything to complement a swinging Friday night in Shoreditch.
Live: Awalé
Awalé play some seriously heavy Afro-Latin-Gypsy Funk. Their formula of phat and funky guitar riffs, Afro-Cuban percussion, supertight horns, and searing female vocals make for a mindblowing party blend. Having just recorded their debut album the band are ready to blow up stages across the UK and the festival circuit this year!
