Wil Sifontes & his Afro-american Project, is a musical group whose purpose is to promote
Afro-Venezuelan and Caribbean popular music.
The group is made up of
professional and amateur musicians, which makes it a very interesting
ensemble, and true to its popular music expression. It is a fairly new
project directed by Venezuelan master percussionist Wilmer Sifontes,
one of the most outstanding and sought after Latin percussionists in the
