In a rare London appearance Tulipa (her name means Tulip) and band perform tracks from her debut album Efêmera (Totolo / Harmonia Mundi). The critically acclaimed release (which topped Rolling Stone Brasil’s list of the Best Album of 2010) featured a stellar cast of top young Brazilian artists including Ceu, Mariana Aydar, Thalma de Freitas (Orquestra Imperial) on backing vocals and Kassin on bass, along with her father Luis Chagas (from Itamar Assumpção’s band Isca de Polícia) and brother Gustavo Ruiz on guitars.
