The Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival 2011, will be held on Thursday 15th and Saturday 17th September featured fantastic live performances and this time including the spanish and latin vibes with Mano de Dios and Robin Jones and King Salsa amongst others. So latinos come over and enjoy this great event for FREE.
The Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival has established itself as London's premier stage for some of Britain's finest musicians. The free event, held on the Boulevard at Imperial Wharf, presents some of the very best jazz artists in the UK and gives Londoners the opportunity to hear these great artists in a fantastic new surrounding.

Soweto Kinch Quartet
Award winning alto saxophonist Soweto Kinch is one of the most exciting and versatile young musicians on the British Jazz scene. Essentially self-taught, Kinch has attracted the attention of some of the most important jazz luminaries in Britain.

Carleen Anderson
Her first solo album, "True Spirit" was nominated for a Brit award in 1994. Her second solo album, in 1998, "Blessed Burden", was co-produced and co-written with Paul Weller. In 1999 to 2000, Carleen was the lead singer and co-songwriter for the Brand New Heavies. She has received rave reviews from Billboard, Music Week, Mojo, The Independent, the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian and in 2007, she has also performed for HRH, the Queen of England at the Royal Theatre in Brighton.

Arun Ghosh Quintet
His Indo-Jazz Sextet play original music of South Asian origin with a contemporary jazz attitude,rocking urban beats and the passion of punk. Robin Jones & King Salsa
King Salsa was founded by master Percussionist/Drummer Robin Jones. The band has had a colourful and varied career and has become something of an international institution in Latin (mainly Cuban) music, dance and folklore. King Salsa has been featured at most of the world's best jazz and Latin venues and festivals including sell-outs at the legendary Ronnie Scott's club in London, the Brecon Jazz Festival, Marlborough Jazz Festival, Malta, Pori and alongside Irakere at London's Cabot Hall.

Bombay Baja Brass Band
Bombay Baja are one of Europe's first Indian brass bands, they specialise in performing processions at festivals.The eight-piece brass band consists of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds ranging from Bhangra to Jazz and Classical, they play a range of instruments including, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, dhol players and percussionists.
