In more than 20 year career,Babasonicos, went from being one of the most innovative bands of the alternative scene in Argentina to be one of the most important and influential Latin rock bands ever.
They have had numerous nominations and awards around the Continent such as Grammys, MTV, Carlos Gardel and a long list that have been repeated as they were releasing albums.
Jessico (2001) was voted best album of the decade by major publications in their country (Rolling Stone) as well as by musicians. They have recorded with Ian Brown (Stone Roses). They have performed over 1,500 concerts by participating in major festivals in the Americas (Coachella Festival, several performances at the Vive Latino ...).

Argentine rock group Babasonicos is celebrating its 20 years of musicmaking with the launch of its new album "A Proposito" (By the Way), available now at www.babasonicos.com
The production is the band's 10th album and includes the number "Deshoras" (Out of Hours), the first single from the new disc, the recording company Universal Music Latino said.
"The creators of rock classics such as 'Yegua' (Mare), 'Pijamas' and 'Microdancing' present a collection of music unlike any other with unforgettable melodies and intense lyrics," the band's label said.
Babasonicos won the MTV Latin America award for Best Rock Artist in 2007 and 2008.
