El Rumbon Cubano presents Los Ministros de la Havana : 8th May

Following the incredible 3rd anniversary party in April, El Rumbon Cubano will be back at Nueva Costa Dorada on Sunday 8th May presenting a 6-piece timbaton group: Los ministros de la Havana live at Nueva Costa dorada.

‘Los Ministros de la Havana’ is a project that brings the original sounds of the musical republic of Havana, Cuba to the UK.

Jessel, aka Mr Huevo and Roly (Roll-X) were born and raised in Cerro, one of the most underground barrios (neighbourhoods) of Havana, Cuba. The band brings to London the current authentic sounds of the street from the capital of Cuba.

Together with their band they create an upbeat, high-energy mix of ‘timba’ and Cuban reggaeton or timbaton, one of the most influential sounds of the city in Cuba today.

The result? The utmost flavour of Havana in the UK right now!

As well as this premier performance, DJ Javier ‘la Maquina de Cuba’ will be spinning a top mix of tunes from Cuba, including timba, salsa & reggaeton.

And Reggaeton King Leandro Charanga will be teaching a HOT HOT HOT salsaton class! This man with the rubber limbs has to be seen to be believed.

He’ll be teaching exciting new steps combining salsa suelta, reggaeton moves and much more! Perfect for dancing to the band! All levels welcome.
