Makala
A prolific DJ, musician, producer and remixer who’s been on the scene for two decades, playing massive clubs and festivals across Europe as well as hosting his own legendary Global Funk Parties in his local Basque Country. A stalwart of the ever excellent Lovemonk Records with several releases and a recent album, 'Unexpected Tapas', on the label. His production styles veer from Spanish rumba beats, gypsy swing, funk and jazz to more tropical sounds like latin, boogaloo, cumbia and ska, seamlessly combined with modern electronics.

Cartas Para Angola
A documentary where various Brazilians with a connection to Angola are asked to send video postcards to people they once knew in Angola or sometimes complete strangers, and the reaction of the Angolans is filmed. Which makes for this really interesting piece about identity, while also revealing a lot about the similarities and differences between people from Brazil, Angola and Portugal.
