cultural tradition of the dances of the Latin America countries.

We have taken our name from a ritual
performed by some tribes of the Amazon, which is express by a procession
of dancers and players of flutes and sacred trumpets. The artistic
expression of Yurupari synthesizes the being and feeling of our people;
with an original style Yurupari’s folklore shows the diversity of the
traditions of the people of Latin America from Mexico to Argentina,
showing also the cultural plurality of the continent; but equally trying
to cut the frontiers, so as to portray with the beauty of movement,
rhythm, music and joy, the true nature of the Latin American people.
The cultural and historic value of
Yurupari encourage us to share with you the commitment to support it and
to promote it, so that new generations of Latin Americans in the UK
continue preserving the cultural heritage of Latin America, not only to
Britain, but to the rest of the world.
