Let Drum Beat
Formed by Alba Cabral, Penny Elkins and Ursula Tuca Let Drum Beat is all about female percussionists that have gathered their vast set of percussion, joining their afro-latin-brazilian-european heritage to create their own pieces flavoured by a wide diversity of acoustic sounds that goes from tiny bells to heavy drums, energetic and paced rhythms, passing through vocal melodies and spontaneous dance.

Burundanga
This diverse collective of exceptional musicians from the North East creates one of the most distinctive sounds in the UK. An eclectic mix of tropical deep beats. From Afro Latin, Jazz, Cumbia, Cuban Beats to Afro Peruvian Festejo.

+ Documentary film screening: "3 Short Films on Chile"
Three glimpses of Chile in 2011. A video trilogy that hinges around the recent momentous student protest movement—the occupations, marches, demonstrations, street actions and web activism—and its tremendous impact on the country’s political life, as they denounce the most highly privatised education system in the world, and demand the return of free public education.
