After the great success of our last performance and by popular demand, we, 'TROVANOCHE', very proudly present another fantastic evening of romantic Latin American music, where a selection of gifted singers and musicians will perform both their own compositions and unique renditions of well-known songs and balads.

Roberto Jiménez.
Roberto is a very gifted Mexican musician with a rich and soulful voice.  Inseparable from his guitar, Roberto explores a variety of styles such as classical and traditional Mexican music particularly contemporary mexican trova.  Roberto is currently the lead singer of Mariachi Mexteca  


Seb Genovese

Sebastiano, from Naples in Italy, is a talented guitarist, singer and composer with a strong classical background. Brazilian music has had a strong influence on his career.  Seb is the leader of the "Seb Genovese Jazz Quintet", a modern jazz group, and he also plays live scores of classical music for silent films

Ahmed Dickinson Cárdenas

One of the finest young performers of the Cuban Classical guitar school, Ahmed is virtuoso and an ambassador of Cuban culture.  For almost a decade Ahmed had the privilege of working closely with the late Cuban guitar composer José Antonio (Ñico) Rojas.  Over this period Ahmed single-handedly transcribed, learned and performed most of the old master's unpublished works, bringing Rojas cultural legacy to future generations. He will perform some Cuban boleros and 'filin' themes

Angélica López
angelica Angelica, a Colombian singer and dancer, came to England with the Orquestra Original de Cartagena representing Colombia at the International Music Village Festival of London in 2002.  She has sung with many well-known bands in the UKand is the lead singer of the folkband "La Papayera" (traditional folk music with African and Colombian Indian influences from the Cartagena region of Colombia on the Caribbean Coast).  Angelica's performance of song and storytelling captures the passion and emotion of her native Colombia

César Rodríguez Durán
cesar Cesar, a guitarist and arranger from Bogotá, Colombia, has performed in various ensembles fromduos to full bands in a variety of styles such as folk, jazz, Brazilian, pop andother Latin rhythms.  Heis also the band leader and arranger of the London-based nine-piece band Caribbean Special.  His stunning bolero arrangements will be interpreted byAngélica
