Casabella are playing on Thurs 7th April: Smash Up@ Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes,Basement of Tavistock Hotel, Bedford Way, London WC1H 9EU (Russel Square Tube).

On stage at 9.40pm.

What more could you want from a venue? There's bowling, beers, pool tables, karaoke booths, a 1950s dinner, table football and an outdoor chill out area.
Casabella is a Latin pop band formed by 6 yogis:
Gianni Rossi: Vocals, guitars
Sam Grant : Vocals, percussion
Winton Palmer: Bass, double-bass
Jivana Hunt: Trumpet
Derek Ferguson: Percussion – Shakers
Nash: Percussion – Congas
“Casabella’s music is lively, irrepressible and wildly groovy. It has the spontaneity of Latin American music, the heart of soul music and the uplifting message of reggae”.
Casabella’s music is an irresistible mix of Latin beat, samba and reggae with lyrics in English, Italian, Spanish and French. Casabella is a band of great cultural diversity with 8 musicians from Europe, the Caribbean, Asia and Africa that met and started playing together in London in 2007. Casabella are protagonist of the London live music scene and are guest of prestigious UK and European Festivals. The band has been invited in tours in Italy, Cyprus and France.

Their first EP sold copies in Europe, Australia, India and Canada and the band is now promoting its new album “A Flower” under the label “CM Records”. Casabella live is a special experience for the energy that involves the audience in the dance and in the interaction with the musicians.
Casabella is the resident band at the popular “Mau Mau Bar” in Portobello Road (London) and they performed at the following festivals:

“Casabella is Italian for ‘beautiful house’, but the idea of Casabella is bigger than that. It is about all of us living together in this world which is our beautiful home. When people come to a Casabella’s performance they experience liberation, feel free to dance and ultimately leave joyful”.
